Moving the phone setup between offices can also be accomplished on the same day as the move. Few systems have this capability but it comes standard with a Televonics system.

A better way to fax. Send faxes using your email or the web. Receive faxes directly to your email and avoid having your faxes left out in the open on a fax machine. Easily read, delete or store your faxes in their new convenient electronic form.

Some companies use overly aggressive voice compression techniques and sacrifice call quality. But Televonics doesn't cut corners and uses the best quality conversion format to ensure voice quality sounds as if you were having the conversation in the same room. Also, unlike others Televonics checks every company's network infrastructure before an installation to ensure there won't be any problems there. We've found many quality issues are introduced by the network and Televonics is uniquely able to diagnose and help solve network issues.

Mobile workers can stay connected to the main telephone system even when they are out of the office. For example if you have service technicians that travel to customer locations they may have a significant amount of down time while driving from customer to customer. The Mobile Worker feature allows the mobile worker to dial the Televonics phone system (from a cell phone or any other phone) and "log in". The system then treats the phone they logged in from as an extension allowing them to stay connected and be productive even while on the road or waiting for the next service call. The remote user can then accept incoming calls as if they were sitting in the main office.

With a Televonics system you can get a group together over the phone and meet via teleconference. Televonics conferencing makes getting together simple and works well when time or distance just won't allow for a face to face meeting. Paging and intercom (Push2Talk)
Need to notify someone they have a call or are needed but don't know exactly where they are - Page them from your phone. Need to talk to a single person - Use the intercom mode. With a Televonics system and phones supporting this feature, you can page system wide (group) or use the intercom to talk hands free with another person. This way, you can tell all your colleagues "we're going out to lunch now" as a group and then turn around and intercom just your secretary to ask them to call the restaurant and make reservations. This feature even works with your remote workers connected to the Televonics system. If you are in a warehouse or other type environment where overhead paging would be more appropriate, Televonics can support that as well.
Graphical reports of phone activity
View simple and easy to read graphical and tabular reports on every detail of your incoming and outgoing calls. In this usable form, see your call volume (monthly, weekly, daily), the average call length and what time calls occur. Use this information to adjust your staffing and provide your customers wit the best service.
Document your conversations and easily review them
Record a phone conversation or a conference to document your meeting or use the recording as a tool to improve employee performance and customer service. With a click of the button on the Televonics Interface or push a button on your phone you can manually start a recording. You can even choose to automatically record a specific number of conversations or record them at random. After completing the recording, the file is placed in your voice mailbox where you have easy access to it. File it away, send it to others or even send it off for transcriptions using Televonics services. Have the recording returned to you converted into a text file.
Personalize your phones through a Simple and Intuitive Web-Based Interface
Make changes to your phone such as custom ring tones, volume setting, extension assignments, call forwarding and voicemail greetings all through our intuitive Televonics control panel. If you can use the web and a mouse you won't have any problems configuring your Televonics system. At the administrative level even more configuration power is available such as the ability to add phones, rename phone owners, change time conditions, etc. And because the Televonics control panel is web based, your system settings can be changed from the office, home or on the other side of the world.
Survivability/Temporary Relocation
In the unfortunate event you ever have to relocate due to a natural disaster or other event, your employees may be dispersed but you can remain in touch with them and your customers.
